Have tack sitting around? Something not quite the right size for you or your horse? Send us your tack, apparel, supplements, or any equine adjacent items and we’ll do the hard work. Broke In Equestrian Consignment gives your gear a new home – recycling, repurposing, and making you money!

 

Consign with Broke in Equestrian and we:

  • Clean and prep your items for sale
    • Don’t want to scrub away at tack that’s been sitting around? We’ve got it covered for a small fee as assessed. Minimum $5 – Maximum $75
  • Drop Off Items– Weekly drop off/pickup locations available
  • Advertise and sell your items
    • Accepted items take 3-7 business days to be inspected, cleaned, and listed on our website and social media.
    • Broke In Equestrian is more than just a website. We make sure to reach the most sellers through our up to date and user-friendly website, active social media, and local in-person sales
  • Send you payment
    • Within two weeks of sale, receive payment via Paypal, Venmo, gift card, or donation to charity. Broke In Equestrian offers 75% of sale to the consignor – significantly higher than most consignment stores!

We're getting pretty full! 

Thanks to our awesome consignors, we have a lot of stuff for sale! We're well supplied on many categories right now. 

If you'd like to consign items with us that we have too many of at the moment, we may not be able to take them right now, but we're always happy to waitlist consignors and let you know when we've sold items and have more room! Please continue to reach out and see if we have room for your items!

All consigned goods will be decreased in price through incremental reductions off the original price listing.

  • After 3 months listing – 5% reduction
  • After 4 months listing – 10% reduction
  • After 5 months listing – 15% reduction
  • After 6 months listing – 20% reduction

At the end of the 6 month listing contract period, the price of a listing can be further discounted, picked up by the consignor, shipped at the consignor’s expense, or donated to Days End Farm or Gentle Giants Rescue. Upon consigning any items with Broke In Equestrian, the consignor will designate which option they prefer. If the consignor wishes to further discount the item, the consignor will denote the minimum acceptable listing price for each item.

  • All articles are consigned for a period of six months, or 180 days.
  • Used helmets, dry rotted strap goods, and dangerous tack will not be accepted

Bargain Bin: Used brushes, torn/dirty horse blankets, excessively worn clothing or boots, or items with broken/missing parts may be accepted as part of Broke In Equestrian’s Bargain Bin. The Bargain Bin items are heavily discounted and final sale only.

Early Pick-Up: Any items that is picked up by the Consignor before the end of the 180 days of the agreement, a fee of $10 per item and any cleaning fees associated to the items will be charge to the Consignor.
